Weight Loss Diets. There are so many of them, if you had only a cent for each you’d still be a millionaire. Why is it that most of us women feel the constant need for diets to lose weight? True nowadays many of us struggle with extra pounds, brought on by a lifestyle of having abundant food in easy reach and more often than not little need of physical movement to go about our daily activities. But it’s not only that. Every available media bombards us with what’s supposed to be the ideal figure for a woman. Says who? I wonder.
Who has actually the right to tell us we don’t look right if we don’t fit into a certain mold. Who dictates unknown numbers of diets to lose weight fast, weight losing diets and for good measure also the best weight lose diets any TV ad, magazine or the internet has to offer?

If we need to use weight loose diets because our body is suffering from being overweight that is one thing, but let’s get real: most of us don’t even have the bone frame to look like Barbie, even if we wanted to. So what is the right weight for you? Check for your body mass index (BMI). The BMI takes your sex, height, your current weight and even your age in account. For example: If you are female, 39 years old, 5ft. 4in. tall, weigh 140 pounds, your BMI will be around 23 – 24, which means you would be in normal weight range. A BMI over 26 signifies slightly overweight, at 31 begins overweight and at 41 obesity; a BMI under 20 means you’d be underweight. Now again these are somewhat generalized numbers that don’t take in account the amount of muscle tissue you have, etc. But it gives you a pretty good idea.

You also hear a lot of talk about ideal weight. And while I can appreciate the optical and even health value of that, I’d like to add a thought of my own to the term of ideal weight. I’ve gotten down to my supposed ideal weight according BMI’s and different standards. For me personally that doesn’t work very well. I look bony and my nerves are frayed. I’m irritably and overly sensitive. So for me personally I have decided that my ideal weight would lie in the normal weight range, where I’m healthy, have a balanced level of sensitivity and resistance to circumstances and even look nice. So, in my humble opinion, ideal weight is relative to what is ideal for you as a person, including you body and your overall wellbeing.
What I think most important in the whole weight issue is that we learn to look at ourselves, inside and out, and honestly tell ourselves: Girl I love you, heck, I even like the way you are. If you can’t love and like who you are, you will never be able to accept yourself as a good thing, a work of art if you will. If you don’t love yourself, you will always believe every lie they tell you about how you’re supposed to look. Once again: says who?
Again if you need to lose weight for your health, get that weight loss diet, go for it, with all you’ve got and become healthy and slimmer in the process. If it’s only for looks and you are already at a healthy weight range, think about if it’s necessary for you to put yourself and your family through the process; think if your emotional level will hold with another 15 – 20 pounds off. And in the end decide what’s best for you and not what’s going to satisfy other people’s opinions.

Diets To Lose A Lot Of Weight
Oct 21st
Can you even count how many diets to lose a lot of weight you have read about, seen on TV or received from well meaning friends and family members? There are enough fast weight lose diets out there to fill an entire encyclopedia on the topic. How is one to know which diets to lose weight really work and which don’t? Some swear by low fat. But then again is the chemical stuff in all those low fat foods so much better for you than the fat itself? Others say low carb is the ultimate solution, but if you don’t ingest carbohydrates you perpetually run low on energy and feel miserable at least half of the time. Then there are diet pills. And what is REALLY in those anyway? And what’s up with the shakes and fiber pills and all of that anyway. Does anybody like to live on stuff like that?
And do you REALLY know what all these things do to your organism? It always amazes me how willing we are to do some pretty weird stuff to ourselves in order to look a certain way (myself included). But if you really stop and think about it: Wouldn’t a balanced diet that includes all the nutrients your body needs (carbs, protein and yes, fat) of the right kind and in the right amounts be so much better (and a whole lot better tasting) than all that artificial and chemical stuff (that doesn’t even remotely have anything to do with nutrition) we put into our bodies?
Well, 10 rules of fat loss actually offers just that. It showed me how to be able to eat all kinds of food and often enough in a way that made me loose weight. The key is in the combination and the timing. It was sooo nice to get a hands-on program where I didn’t have to buy a whole battery of side products to reach my supposed weight loss goal; just my regular food eaten in a new way.

Weight Loss Diets

On the internet we can find a dizzying array of weight loss diets of ALL types. Depending on how much weight we want to lose and how fast we want to go about it there are gazillions of weight loss diets promising you the stars . . . right now (or at least with visible results within a week.). How much of it is true and how much of it is actually good for you? Now that very quickly brings it down to very few options. Everything that asks you to go to an extreme (under 1,200 calorie diets etc) or leaves out a necessary nutrient (carbohydrates, protein or fat), or asks you to ingest pills of indefinable or artificial ingredients can’t really be good for you, can it? How about a natural way, with normal food (the real kind) that tastes good AND is good for you?
